You must be a member of Flood City Bowmen or a guest of a club member in order to use the indoor and outdoor target and field ranges. You DO NOT have to be a club member to participate in scheduled club shooting events, such as 3D Archery Shoots, Indoor Leagues, Nite Owl League, Outdoor 600 and 900 Target Shoots, or Field Archery events.
Flood City Bowmen is not an exclusive club—anyone with an interest in archery can join. Membership is required because it is a club for the members. Your membership support keeps the club going! Your membership ensures that the club can make available quality facilities, target butts, and arrange archery related events. As a member of FCB, you become a member of an archery community where like-minded people can gather, participate in, and enjoy the sport they all love. It sure beats shooting alone in your back yard!
Joining Flood City Bowmen is easy! Just attend a club meeting, fill out an application, and submit it to one of the club officers present. Club meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month and begin at 8:00PM. It is club policy that new membership applicants must be voted in by members present at the meeting, therefore it is necessary to attend. While this may seem like a formality, it helps maintain our philosophy of being a club for the members—a democracy. Once voted in, you are immediately able to participate in the meetings, vote, and comment on matters being discussed.
You may select a single membership for one person, or a family membership so you don’t have to leave anyone at home! FCB encourages you to share the sport with your spouse and children! Single memberships are $15.00 per year, and family memberships are $20.00 per year.
After you have joined, an officer or club member will show you around and explain how to make use of the indoor and outdoor facilities!
Please attend club meetings! As a new member, FCB is YOUR CLUB! The best way to guarantee the future success and growth of your club is active participation in the meetings. New ideas for the club grounds, archery events, scheduling, and club promotion are always welcome! After all, unique ideas such as Nite Owl—a lighted night time field round—come from FCB members! Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:00PM.
Work days for maintenance of the club grounds, indoor and outdoor ranges, 3D archery shoots, and other purposes are scheduled at the meetings on an as-needed basis. Please help with the upkeep of YOUR CLUB! The only way things get done is when members help. Don’t assume the other members will take care of things for you—they need your help!
When you use the club grounds or indoor range, please respect other club members by keeping the premises clean.
